SYNAGOGUE BUILDING COLLAPSE UPDATES: Church Members attack Emergency workers and Journalists.

As promised, Naijarazzi will be updating about the ongoing evacuation in the collapsed building, the latest from the ground now is that the church members have chased away the Emergency workers that were helping to evacuate and clear the debris, it is speculated that the Church officials and Members are trying to cover or hide evidence that will reveal the real cause of the collapsed building. It is either that the prayers of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his prayer warriors is working, or his propaganda and Public relations Machinery has been well Oiled. If the new Facts emerging from the divorce saga between Pastor Chris and Reverend Anita is anything to go by. The new facts claims that in the court papers finally submitted by Reverend Anita (ThisDay Newspapers obtained a copy), that the major reason she gave for filing for divorce, is on the ground that the "Marriage has broken down irretrievably", but to support her petition, she accused Pastor Chris of having inappropriate relationship with some of his female workers. * we must cut in now, lol okay inappropriate relationship is not adultery abi?* Okay o... Below is the excerpts from the statement.

According to the statement;

"The wife has discussed with the husband his inappropriate relationship with some of his female staff members. She has explained that this has given her cause for concern. The husband has minimised her worries and taken no step to alleviate her grievances.”

"The wife submits that her marriage to the husband has irretrievably broken down and there is no hope of reconciliation. The wife will submit that it is the husband’s unreasonable behaviours which have led to this.

“The husband and the wife are both Pastors. The husband undertakes his work, in the main, in South Africa and Nigeria. The wife lives in the United Kingdom. The wife will say that they have lived separately for 16 years and over this time have drifted apart. The wife has come to realise that the husband will only visit the UK for annual church programmes that he holds rather than to be with this wife. The wife feels that he has been unavailable as a father to their children during their developing years.

“The wife feels that their marriage suffered under the pressure of their work. They would rarely spend time together due to the husband unavailability. Special occasions such as Christmas, Birthdays and family occasions and anniversaries past them by and their rarely spent any time together as a family as the husband was more devoted to his work than he was to them.

“The wife feels that she has been used to portray and enhance the husband’s image as a family man when the reality is that there is no existing relationship between them. She feels that she has been present for official functions simply for his convenience. On occasions she has been copied into his travel itinerary which has been given to him by his staff on a need to know basis.

“The wife has tried to discuss her concerns with the husband. He claims that she is carnal and he is insensitive to her feelings and her needs.”

“As a result of the husband’s attitude to their marriage, the wife will say that he is virtually not recognised as a married man in the ministry. His teachings and beliefs on marriage is that the husband is a master and a controller and the wife will say that his concept of biblical; submission is so extreme that it is impossible for her to meet his expectations. She feels humiliated by the way he treats her in the presence of his close female staff members and she feels that she has been taken for granted which has become unbearably stressful for her.

“The wife will say that the relationship with  the husband is non-existent to the point that his itinerary which was announced  publicly at the beginning of the year had no provision for time with his family. His staff members who travel with him organise both his personal and professional life without any input from her. The wife will say that she is treated with disregard almost like akin to an intruder.

“The wife feels that she has been mentally, physically and emotionally deprived of the experience of a marital relationship. She feels that the husband has persistently judged her  and his communication with her has been unduly harsh. The wife knows that he was hard to please and has been extremely critical.

“The wife reserves the right to expand on all of these particulars if the divorce petition is defended.”

EWEDU CAN PREVENT AND CURE EBOLA: Professor Adebukola Ositelu.

Hmmm, this is no endorsement o. But a well known Naija Professor, Adebukola Ositelu, a Professor of ‎Ophthalmology at the University of Lagos, Akoka (UNILAG), and a consultant at the Lagos University Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba has said that Ewedu (known in English as a Long-Fruited vegetable), has the capability of preventing and maybe curing the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) by boosting the immune system. she disclosed this at the annual African Traditional Medicine Day organised by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) yesterday, September 4 at Ikeja, Lagos.

In her words "the vegetable had a high potency to boost the immune system such that it’s usage would prevent an individual from being infected with Ebola, On how to administer the treatment, she said the Ewedu should be rinsed thoroughly with liquid vinegar. Then it should be blended and cooked with drinkable water, without adding salt or potash (locally called akaun) or any other ingredients."

USA PRAISES NIGERIA ON EBOLA CONTROL: WANTS US TO HELP OTHER AFFECTED AFRICAN COUNTRIES

Nigeria is in the news for something positive at least, The United States have congratulated and praised our Dear Country Naija, for the proper management and control we have exhibited in handling the EVD spread.  We were praised by the United States Under Secretary of State on African Affairs, Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield. She said this when she visited the Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu. In her own words  “I commend the Minister and his staff and the government of Nigeria on how effectively they have been working to deal with the Ebola outbreak here in Nigeria. They are taking all the right steps to control this, And, they are having great success here. I appeal to the minister to assist neighbouring Liberia, and Sierra-Leone however".  Our health Minister Prof Chukwu, used the chance to "buga" and said: “Well, Nigeria has always been her brothers’ and sisters’ keeper. Nigeria helped and founded ECOWAS. You remember it was during Gen. Yakubu Gowon, when he was Head of States, that ECOWAS was established. And, Nigeria continues to play that leading role in ECOWAS. We are going to assist our sister nations.

GOOD DEED TURNED FATAL: WOMAN LOSE LIFE AFTER DONATING KIDNEY TO UNCLE!

Not every good deed, gets rewarded. A 29-year-old Kenyan woman named Rehema Kanini, lost her life while trying to save her uncle’s life. She has been reported to have died in an Indian Hospital in August after donating one of her kidneys to an ailing Uncle. The painful twist, is that the Uncle is currently alive and doing great medically. After the laparoscopic surgical procedure, in simple naija language (kidney transplant) Kanini was believed to be fine, and she was glad that she was able to save her Uncle's life not knowing that things would go bad for her. It was reported that some days after the operation, things began to go downhill for her starting with dizziness and pains in her chest. Despite the fact that she was taken back to the hospital the Doctors were unable to save her, as she Died. After her death Autopsy reports showed that she had a blood clot that blocked her main artery to the Kidney and this led to the suffocation of her other organs. Too bad! One of her last few posts on Facebook was: “If only we treated others like we would want to be treated, the world would be a happier place.”

Although Kanini’s death has caused sadness, her selfless acts serve as a source of inspiration to humanity.

Our Prayer is that, may our good deeds never turn fatal against us. Amen. Please type Amen too Peeps.

RESIDENT DOCTORS BACK TO WORK..

The Federal Government has lifted the suspension on more than 16,000 Resident Doctors. They were placed on suspension after going on strike for too long demanding better work remunerations.

.  personally we think that the Doctors have been selfish and self serving without any thoughts about the high numbers of citizens that are sick and can not afford to go to the expensive private hospitals. Federal Government through it's spoke person the talkative Dr Doyin Okupe, stated that they can now go to back but their medical directors must give them letters to show that they have started working again. The Loss of life caused by the strike by the NMA can never be measured, may their soul rest in peace! We hope that all the issues that caused the strike initially should be addressed we do not want such again.
