The Indian billionaire businessman Ravi Pillai threw an extravagant wedding ceremony for his only daughter Arathi, as she tied the knot with her husband, Aditya Vishnu.
The world class wedding is estimated to have cost about 550 million rupees or $8 million.

 Arathi and Aditya’s wedding reception was designed by one of India’s popular film directors, Sabu Cyril. The set took approximately 75 days and 8 acres to build.

SYNAGOGUE BUILDING COLLAPSE UPDATES: Church Members attack Emergency workers and Journalists.

As promised, Naijarazzi will be updating about the ongoing evacuation in the collapsed building, the latest from the ground now is that the church members have chased away the Emergency workers that were helping to evacuate and clear the debris, it is speculated that the Church officials and Members are trying to cover or hide evidence that will reveal the real cause of the collapsed building. BATTLE OF THE REVERENDS PART 3 : NOT ADULTERY BUT INAPPROPRIATE RELATIONSHIP WITH FEMALE WORKERS

It is either that the prayers of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his prayer warriors is working, or his propaganda and Public relations Machinery has been well Oiled. If the new Facts emerging from the divorce saga between Pastor Chris and Reverend Anita is anything to go by. The new facts claims that in the court papers finally submitted by Reverend Anita (ThisDay Newspapers obtained a copy), that the major reason she gave for filing for divorce, is on the ground that the "Marriage has broken down irretrievably", but to support her petition, she accused Pastor Chris of having inappropriate relationship with some of his female workers. * we must cut in now, lol okay inappropriate relationship is not adultery abi?* Okay o... Below is the excerpts from the statement.

According to the statement;

"The wife has discussed with the husband his inappropriate relationship with some of his female staff members. She has explained that this has given her cause for concern. The husband has minimised her worries and taken no step to alleviate her grievances.”

"The wife submits that her marriage to the husband has irretrievably broken down and there is no hope of reconciliation. The wife will submit that it is the husband’s unreasonable behaviours which have led to this.

“The husband and the wife are both Pastors. The husband undertakes his work, in the main, in South Africa and Nigeria. The wife lives in the United Kingdom. The wife will say that they have lived separately for 16 years and over this time have drifted apart. The wife has come to realise that the husband will only visit the UK for annual church programmes that he holds rather than to be with this wife. The wife feels that he has been unavailable as a father to their children during their developing years.

“The wife feels that their marriage suffered under the pressure of their work. They would rarely spend time together due to the husband unavailability. Special occasions such as Christmas, Birthdays and family occasions and anniversaries past them by and their rarely spent any time together as a family as the husband was more devoted to his work than he was to them.

“The wife feels that she has been used to portray and enhance the husband’s image as a family man when the reality is that there is no existing relationship between them. She feels that she has been present for official functions simply for his convenience. On occasions she has been copied into his travel itinerary which has been given to him by his staff on a need to know basis.

“The wife has tried to discuss her concerns with the husband. He claims that she is carnal and he is insensitive to her feelings and her needs.”

“As a result of the husband’s attitude to their marriage, the wife will say that he is virtually not recognised as a married man in the ministry. His teachings and beliefs on marriage is that the husband is a master and a controller and the wife will say that his concept of biblical; submission is so extreme that it is impossible for her to meet his expectations. She feels humiliated by the way he treats her in the presence of his close female staff members and she feels that she has been taken for granted which has become unbearably stressful for her.

“The wife will say that the relationship with  the husband is non-existent to the point that his itinerary which was announced  publicly at the beginning of the year had no provision for time with his family. His staff members who travel with him organise both his personal and professional life without any input from her. The wife will say that she is treated with disregard almost like akin to an intruder.

“The wife feels that she has been mentally, physically and emotionally deprived of the experience of a marital relationship. She feels that the husband has persistently judged her  and his communication with her has been unduly harsh. The wife knows that he was hard to please and has been extremely critical.

“The wife reserves the right to expand on all of these particulars if the divorce petition is defended.”

NEWS UPDATE: BATTLE OF THE REVERENDS THE SERIES CONTINUES.

It is no news that Pastor Chris and his wife are currently acting a drama series titled Battle of the Reverends..winks! What is news now, is that Pastor Chris has threatened to sue all the Journalists, Print and Media and Bloggers (yours truly included) that are writing about his mini series with his wife, and also maligning him that he committed adultery. Below is the statement issued by his Lawyer Mr Kemi Pinheiro (SAN).

“The attention of our client, Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, and the church has been drawn to the wave of false, malicious and fabricated stories being published in the print and electronic media about his person, the church and a matrimonial cause between him and his wife," his attorney stated. Sharply criticizing the recent coverage of the divorce proceedings, which the statement did not refute, the release claimed that publishers went so far as to fabricate claims that he had committed adultery against his wife, Anita. These contradict her claims that the leader of Christ Embassy Church had indeed been unfaithful during their "terribly degenerated" marriage, something she disclosed through counsel to Premium Times earlier Wednesday. Characterizing the media's coverage of his wife's efforts to divorce him as “complete distortion of the facts in the pending proceedings in the United Kingdom”, the statement cited the coverage as "selfishly motivated" for political and financial advantage. "

Oyakhilome's counsel further said the media's coverage was engineered to bring him and the church shame and ridicule, though his wife was the person who aired the allegations against him. 

The statement also acknowledged freedom of the press, but quite contradictory, cautioned that further action will be taken to safeguard the image of the church and the pastor if coverage continued. "Be warned therefore that unless the concerned media houses desist from further publishing words and stories which are false and damaging of our client’s reputation and the church, we shall, without further recourse to the concerned publishers, promptly embark on appropriate legal machinery with a view to protecting our client’s reputation and that of the church."

NEWS UPDATE: BATTLE OF THE REVERENDS!

More details have emerged, from the Where is Reverend Anita Oyakhilome Page on facebook...This was posted on their page just last week before the news od the imminent divorce between Pastor Chris and his wife Anita. It was this page that first made known, that all was not well with the Oyakhilome's.  Read below their post. This is becoming a series film..and does not show any sign of simmering down any time soon. Read and Enjoy Naijarians.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, 

It is very interesting that we requested the closure of this page and were informed that in 14 days, the page will shut down. But... its still here! What happened? 

 The Lord needs the page open! The purpose obviously has not been achieved. There is a huge question still hanging - "Where is Rev. Anita Oyakhilome?" 

 I believe the Lord allowed our silence to show us and all of you who are concerned about the ministry just how deep the problems are.  It is not surprising the negative, abusive and insulting comments people have come here to make against others because they decided to stand up for truth and speak up.  

 The truth is that most of these people know the truth but the devil will not give up 

without a fight. Some of these people were sent here by the leadership of the ministry thinking that a couple of barks will scare people away and finally shut down the page. What they do not realise is that our God is not a sentimental God and when He puts His hands on a thing, that thing becomes unstoppable. No matter what anybody says, does or thinks. 

 It is important for us to realise that Rev. Anita did not just leave, this is the move of the Spirit. There is no one else He could have moved in this way to cause a shaking for change. Plus, He could use her because she has never been a part of the evil. The Lord just separated her from the start and she gave herself to worshiping the Lord in Spirit and in Truth from the start.  

When Pastor Chris moved her and the children to the UK and seemed to separate himself from his family, little did he know that the Lord was going to use his unfair thoughts and actions for the good of Rev. Anita and all His children who the ministry have smartly and are still trying to smartly lead away from God. The wisdom of man can never match the wisdom of God. 

 While, Pastor Chris is not making, I repeat, not making any moves to reconcile with his wife, he still needs her name and face in his materials to keep them attracting people and selling. How deceitful is that? Her name and face still appear on some Rhapsody of Realities articles she did not write. The authors of Rhapsody of Realities remain Pastors Chris and Anita Oyakhilome, even though she is completely out of the picture. And that is what some people hang on to to debunk the fact that she is no longer in the picture.  

They initially tried to take her face and name off but realised quickly that it would be bad business for them. So, what next, keep her face and name on but her presence of course is not required. Well, not anymore! This is no longer the time of business as usual. Not at all! 

 Dear Pastor Chris, God is a merciful God. You know that. We still love you and will stand with you if you make the change. There is still time to make the required changes. You know very well the changes God needs you to make. Our thinking that the marriage is what needs fixing, is misplaced. The marriage breakdown is the result of the heart turned away from God.  

Turn your heart back to your first love and the restorer will restore all. Yes, there would be unveiled dirty secrets but the merciful Lord will not allow it to be as bad as it would be if you do not make the change. When a leader makes a wrong turn, its the people that suffer most. After David numbered Israel and the people began to die as a result of his actions, David repented, but God gave him some options for his punishment. David quickly took the option for God to deal with him by Himself. Why? He preferred for the Lord's direct punishment and not his enemy's because as he declared, God is a merciful and kind God. That God has not changed.  

 Man's love is fickle. Just a little while longer and all those who have been rally around you, praising you on that all this will not lead anywhere, will begin to plot their quiet departure when they realise the brand "Pastor Chris" is no longer working for them. It is important for us to mention here that some of the writers on the page are your or informed by your close lieutenants.

Anita Odegwa Oyakhilome and marriage, according to recent publications it has been a known fact that their marriage was about to crumble, but he has always denied it. he cannot deny it any more though, as the wife has already filed for divorce and the divorce proceedings is at the final stages. this might not be news but what is really the news is that she cited unreasonable behaviour and Adultery as the reason for her seeking Divorce. hmmm Pastor and adultery??? The divorce case, with Suit No FD14D01650, was filed on April 9, 2014 at Divorce Section A, Central Family Court, First Avenue House, High Holborn, London, UK, on Anita’s behalf by Attwaters Jameson Hill Solicitors after all underground and secret Efforts to reconcile the popular couple, whose church is one of the biggest denominations in Nigeria and has branches all over world,failed. Though Pastor Chris as he s popularly called has denied that he committed adultery and that his wife is been misled by bad friends hmmm.
