(1). Odunlade Adekola was born December 31st 1977. He attended the Saint John RCM primary
school, and later Saint Peter’s college, both in Abeokuta. After being into acting for some years, Odunlade Adekola is currently running a part time undergraduate programme in Business Administration in University of Lagos. Lagos State.
(2). Odunlade Adekola started acting from a very young age, starting with plays and comedy roles in his home church Christ Apostolic Church in Lafenwa Abeokuta, Ogun State. He started acting professionally in 2005 and has since been growing from strength to strength. He has currently acted in close to a hundred films and have written, directed and produced a few including the very successful 1. Farapamo, 2. Emi nire kan, 3. Baba super, 4. Ila owo.
(3). He is Married to "born again" Ruth Adekola and he has three beautiful Sons, the last son was born in March this year.
(4). His Role models are his personal Mentor, the Late Isola Durojaye (Alasari), who taught and schooled him in the act of acting and also motivated and inspired to bring out the best in him. Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo), Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), and Lere Paimo.
(5). He has enjoyed a lot of juicy branding Contracts, he was a former Glo Ambassador, face of Ogun, and also face of Ekiti States. His busineess interests including the widely reported N40 Million Hotel he constructed in Adigbe axis, of Abeokuta in Ogun State about a year ago.
(6). His Most Challenging Role was the role he played in the hit Movie "Asiri Gomina wa" (The secret of our Governor), where he played the role of a state governor, according to him, it was the most challenging assignment of his career, as criticisms and doubts flew about over his ability to play the role successfully. However, he was able to play the role perfectly, and according to him, he believes that his role in that film opened up the door of many greater opportunities for him.
(7). He cheated on his wife by dating his protege actress Taiwo Aromokun. She admitted in various interviews, that she and Odunlade dated but, the duo had to part ways as he was not willing to take a second wife, and of course, she had to carry on with her life. (she is currently married). The breakup not withstanding, the duo is still on very good terms.
