Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole is reported to have submitted a letter of intent to the APC Leader on wanting to contest in the next presidential election. The Governor is hoping to ride on the goodwill of his people, and the religious war in the APC to promote his candidacy, undisclosed sources on ground are also suggesting that,
his main target is not the Presidency, but that according to permutations, he will be rewarded with the Vice Presidency, as he will step down for a prominent person from the North. But if everything goes according to Oshiomhole and the APC Governors' plan, he might get their endorsement. It was gathered that time table for his nationwide consultation meeting with APC governors, meetings with former presidents, opening of his campaign headquarters in Abuja and Edo State, and setting up of committees would soon be made public.
His former governorship campaign office will serve as his presidential campaign office in Edo State. Oshio Baba as he is fondly called in his State, is surely gunning for the sky, but who says he cannot?
