A British Former Helicopter Pilot and Engineer, Chris Malloy has designed the world's first flying motorcycle, called the "Hoverbike". what started as a hobby in his back garage in Sydney Australia, is now a Multi Billion Dollars project, with Researchers, Rescue, US Army now interested in the bike. According to him he was able to combine the simplicity of a motorbike and the freedom of an helicopter to create the flying bike, after years of painstaking research, it has paid off for him though, the flying "Okada" flies like a drone powered by four tribune fans. It can be flown by a man or controlled to fly alone by remote control and gives a new experience of flying. Its ruggedness and simplicity the Hoverbike flies low and is not very expensive to maintain. Designed for humans, it lands and takes off like a helicopter. The Hoverbike has many uses. It could be used for search and rescue operations, emergency services and cattle mustering, because of its compact design and low cost people can afford to buy it. The Hoverbike can be folded to one third of its size and kept in small spaces. It has the capability of carrying cargo weighing 120 kilograms. The lightness of the Hoverbike allows for its transportation by air, land and sea when it is needed in any situation. Hmm this will surely open a whole new experience of moving from one place to another, we are watching out for our celebrities that like copy copy and show off, i am certain that one of them will be the first to get this (make una no mind my bad mouth o). Anyways..the hoverbike will soon be submitted for final test and certification to the aviation Authorities in the States, and if it is certified, the sales will start immediately.
