The presidency has revealed the date when President Muhammadu Buhari will administer the oath of office on his new appointed ministers.
An insider, who asked not to be named because he was not allowed to speak on the matter, disclosed this to the Daily Trust yesterday.
He said: “The first major job before Mr President in November is the inauguration of his cabinet member. Arrangements have already been made for this and this [will] most likely happen on Wednesday.”
Also an aide to one of the elected ministers also told the newsmen that his boss had received a message from the presidency that the swearing-in would take place on November 4.
“The inauguration is taking place Wednesday next week, according to what I heard my boss saying this (yesterday) afternoon,” the aide said.
However, presidential media aide Femi Adesina, said only Buhari would communicate when he would inaugurate his ministers.
Adesina, who said he could not ascertain exactly when the ministers-designate would be inaugurated, added they would have to notify their family members.
That's their cup of tea. What matters is good government
