The World Health Organization has declared Sierra Leone as an Ebola-free country 18 months and over 14,000 cases since it first appeared in the country.The World Health Organization made the declaration on Friday.
The WHO rep in the country, Dr. Anders Nordstrom said: “We now have a unique opportunity to support Sierra Leone to build a strong and resilient public health system ready to detect and respond to the next outbreak of the disease or any other public health threat.”
