Ibori has not been released from UK prison – Oghara Clan Sec-Gen says

The Secretary-General of the Oghara Clan Union in the UK, Charles Abutoh has denied media reports that former Delta State Governor, James Ibori who is serving a jail term in the UK for government evasion and defilement, was discharged from jail . Oghara is Ibori's town in Delta state.

Identifying with DailyTrust, Abutoh said that the former governor was all the while serving his term at the Long Lartin Prison in Worcestershire, England and may be discharged after his  reallocation trial planned for June this year has been finished

"On the off chance that you detain somebody for taking, you can't release them without letting you know what you say they stole. That is the quintessence of the seizure trial. Once the trial is closed and he can settle it, he will be discharged. They know Ibori offers papers, so a few individuals simply take a seat and compose whatever they like. I went to him in jail around three weeks back and talk with him each other. Things are still as they seem to be, and everything is on course".

Ibori has been in a UK jail since April 2012 for taking and IRS evasion, among different offenses.
