Adekunle Gold fans are lamenting over the YBNL act. His fans, who confirm they love his songs despite them being slow tempo music in a country where fast music sells, said he needs to up his stagecraft.
They are complaining that if there is anything the Olamide Baddo boy needs to learn from his record label boss, it is stagecraft as his stage performances have been tagged dry.
One of his fans said during the AFRIMA awards he was full of high expectation from the new singer but was disappointed first with his choice of song to perform at the event. She said: “Who cares about Sade, it is not as danceable as Orente.”
This fan along with others was screaming for Orente but alas, Adekunle Gold left the stage after a dry performance of Sade.
Unlike the complaints about Adekunle Gold’s dry performance, no other YBNL artist has had such a reaction from fans. Lil Kesh and Olamide are known to own the stage while performing and of course they carry their audience along.
Adekunle Gold fans are urging him to grab the required expertise that will make him last longer in the Nigerian music industry from his label.
